Engineers Huge Bandwidth Cost Savings
eCom eCom Targeting MPZ as Standard Feature for
Leading Internet Companies
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 2002--Today
eCom eCom, Inc. (OTCBB:ECEC) announced that it has initiated an
aggressive campaign to establish its new compression software,
MyPhotoZip(TM) (MPZ), as the standard for use by Internet companies
such as Amazon, Yahoo and eBay. eCom eCom has hired an independent
company to spearhead this initiative.
"The timing of the marketing campaign is perfect for us," said
David J. Panaia, eCom eCom CEO. "The ever-growing bandwidth demands
faced by large companies create a huge financial drain. Big companies
are searching desperately for a viable option to dramatically
reduce these costs without sacrificing quality. MPZ is the answer."
MPZ is power breakthrough software that can compress large image
files at ratios of 300:1 and more without information loss. The
smaller the file size, the less bandwidth needed for transmission.
"Every PC will benefit from MPZ, we're going after that consumer
market. Now however, we've broadened our marketing focus to target
the big companies like Amazon, Yahoo and eBay because they spend
hundreds of millions of dollars on bandwidth. We can help them
save millions of dollars in operating expenses," said Panaia.
"Why wouldn't companies with exploding bandwidth expenses give
MPZ a serious look?
"We have an implementation strategy which quickly realizes bandwidth
reduction, and tracks use," added Panaia. "We can improve day
to day operations so both internal and external clients get the
most out of posting MPZ images and see hard dollar telecommunication
savings."
eCom eCom has successfully survived the "dot com" fallout and
has emerged stronger and better prepared to compete in today's
market. "It has taken us two years to make the transition to a
software technology development company," said Panaia. "With MPZ,
we are in the business to help large companies and individuals
save time and money. We are going to be a shining star in today's
investment market."
The Company is in negotiations with several corporate entities
and recently finalized a software agreement through one of its
strategic alliance partners. "We envision that MPZ will become
a standard in every computer," said Panaia. For more information
