eCom eCom Affiliate Program:
The Smart Way to Market Technology Products

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 15, 2002--Today eCom eCom, Inc. (OTCBB:ECEC - News) announced that its new image compression "photo shrink" software -- MyPhotoZip!(TM) -- is available for download from its web site at http://www.myphotozip.com. MyPhotoZip!(TM) is a state-of-the-art image compression software application that uses highly optimized wavelet compression and fractal algorithms to compress images in a nearly lossless state. Priced at $39.95, the MyPhotoZip!(TM) application saves valuable disk space and transmission time by compressing images at ratios up to 100:1. Compared to competitive technologies, MyPhotoZip!(TM) provides a better quality image and faster image processing and transmission.

According to Dr. Peter Tamayo, Jr., the new eCom eCom President, MyPhotoZip!(TM) is the first of several complimentary product lines and services that the company will introduce over the next several months. The company is finishing the development of an easy-to-use on-line secure storage web site for subscribers. This service allows subscribers to store their photo albums and photo images in a web site format for a low monthly fee. With the use of any digital camera or scanner, a user can take or scan pictures and then compress and upload them at high speed to the on-line web service. "The beauty of this system," said Tamayo, "is that it enables the user to obtain high-quality prints by securely transferring the images to a local photo laboratory like Walgreens or Kodak. The lab then processes the prints and sends them via conventional delivery methods."

The MyPhotoZip!(TM) web site soon will be updated with an affiliate program to serve as an Internet launch pad designed specifically for marketing, sale and distribution of MyPhotoZip!(TM). eCom eCom's primary marketing strategy, to be used for roll-out of its emerging line of safeware products, capitalizes on the network of 57,000 marketing alliances secured through the company's agreement with Plugin Technologies of the United Kingdom. "This is a smart approach to the marketing of technology products," said David Panaia, eCom eCom CEO. "It's an efficient and economical way to broaden our target audience to international markets, and it takes advantage of the Internet without incurring the huge cost of traditional Internet-based advertising programs."
